Explore the Tarka Trail

Covering a total of 180 miles in a figure-of-eight, the Tarka Trail was inspired by Henry Williamson’s famous novel ‘Tarka the Otter’. The pathways can lead you through striking coastline, wooded river valleys, rocky moorland and stunning countryside that are perfect for dog walks, cycle rides and family adventures.
